Chat assistant

Messages you send to the chat are stored with the replies, together with a session cookie named chat_sid. The cookie is HttpOnly, lasts 30 days, and is used only to group your messages and limit abuse. If you type an email address into the chat, it is stored with the transcript so Hirok can follow up.

The chat stores a keyed hash of your IP address for abuse prevention. The raw IP address is not stored. Transcripts are kept until you ask for deletion.

Chat messages are processed by Groq (language model) and Hugging Face (text embeddings).

Newsletter

The newsletter stores your email address. It is added only after you click the confirmation link sent to that address. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately. Emails are sent through Resend.

Analytics and performance

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect page views and performance measurements. Microsoft Clarity records anonymized interaction sessions (clicks, scrolling, and pages viewed) to understand how the site is used.

Some photos are served from Unsplash, which receives your IP address and browser user agent when they load.

Scheduling

Booking a call uses Cal.com, which handles the availability and booking details you submit.

Service providers

Data is stored with Supabase. The site is hosted on Vercel. Email is sent through Resend. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to this site.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete the chat transcripts or newsletter record linked to you, email the contact address above. Deletion requests are handled manually.
