Problem

Smallholder farmers often can't identify a crop disease early enough to treat it, and agricultural extension officers can't be everywhere at once.

Solution

Built an image classifier (EfficientNet, served via Hugging Face) that identifies crop diseases from a photo, paired with a Groq-hosted Llama 3 model that explains the diagnosis and treatment in plain language, plus a Mapbox view for tracking regional outbreak clusters.
