Problem

Dengue outbreaks in Bangladesh are tracked reactively — by the time case counts spike, the outbreak is already underway, leaving health authorities no lead time to allocate resources or warn at-risk districts.

Solution

Built a forecasting platform that models outbreak risk from climate and case-history data with XGBoost, serving predictions through a FastAPI backend and mapping district-level risk on an interactive Leaflet map, with a Groq-powered assistant for querying the data in plain language.
